Jake Whiston
It’s not uncommon that photography acts as the catalyst for my other undertakings as a filmmaker and musician. A single photo can spark the larger narrative idea for a film, or will inspire a discordant melody that later becomes a song. And in my years as an artist, I’ve found that these artforms — photography, film, music — can be incredibly meaningful when placed side-by-side, in juxtaposition with one another.
