Cheryl Herndon
Most days you will find Cheryl in her studio painting or at her kiln doing pottery and horse hair Raku. Cheryl is a self taught Artist with lots of influence from the artists around her.
Her mother, grandmother and great grand mother were all artists.
She created a mural for chinook winds casino on a 30’ x7’ wall and then added some cartoons to several other walls for the daycare there.
She has been features in two different newspapers here and at the beach.
She does commissioned work in portraits or pet portraits. She has donated many of her paintings of horses to support local horse activity. She has taught art classes in this area and continues to hold classes. She describes her art as impressionist/realist and likes to keep it affordable to everyone.
